Daryl Braun started his radio career over 30 years ago at CFAM in Altona, first as an announcer and then specializing in news. He delivers "The Business Report" weekday mornings at 6:20 and 7:20. Daryl serves on the board of the Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada and is chair of the Prairie Panel for the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council. He starts his day at 4:10 coordinating news and information programming. Daryl also handles administrative duties for the news team.

No two days are ever the same in Shannon Dueck's world and he says that's what makes coming to work so much fun. Shannon has spent the last 7 years as a reporter at AM 1250 and enjoys the thrill of 5 o'clock deadlines, interviewing local athletes, politicians or just the guy next door with a story to tell. Shannon and his wife Tracy live in Rosenort. They love travelling, trying new restaurants, spending time at the lake and attending professional sporting events; his most memorable was witnessing Barry Bonds hit a homer into McCovey Cove.

When she's not chasing down leads or reporting on local news, Judy Peters loves spending time with her family. Judy, her husband Dan, and their two wonderful children always look forward to their next opportunity to go camping as a family. Some of Judy's passions are walking, listening to music, trying different ethnic foods, and being a self-proclaimed sports nut. She also enjoys cooking but receives stiff competition from her husband Dan, who's no stranger to the kitchen.

Part of the News team in Steinbach, Chris Teetaert covers school news for both Hanover and Seine River School Divisions. He is also the voice of Agriculture in the Southeast and occasional guest host of the Manitoba Farm Journal. Chris and his wife Shari have an active family of five children and work with a local youth group. He enjoys cooking, woodworking, camping, skiing (both water and downhill) and dabbles with technology.

When our provincial legislature is sitting, Harv Kroeker hosts The Premier’s Report with Gary Doer and The Other Side with opposition leader Hugh McFadyen. Harv is a distinguished member of the Canadian Association of Broadcaster's Quarter-Century Club. He's followed news-makers for more than 40 years. A self-avowed history buff, Harv's collection of vintage radios display a passion for his hobby, and his dedication to the industry. Harv also enjoys golf, camping and family time with wife Ann and their adult children.

News reporter Marj Heinrichs covers events in and around her home in Rosenort. She's been in the business of journalism for over 15 years. Marj's writing and photography skills are kept sharp by the communications business she runs. This venture has taken her into First Nations communities, researching and recording history and working with school curriculum. Off the beat, Marj enjoys spending time with grandson Alex (and the rest of her family), reading, running, and relaxing at "the Heinrichs shack" in the Pembina Hills.

Since 1985, Clayton Dreger has helped make AM 1250 the leader in community-level sports coverage. His affinity for sport is matched by a devotion to his growing family. Clayton has covered provincial, national and World Curling championships, two Grey Cups games, Pan Am Games and World Junior Hockey championships. He's talked to sports legends like Bobby Orr, Danny Gallivan, and Ken Ploen. Winter months are spent on the curling beat. Come spring, the links come calling. He'll be teeing off before the dust that was on his clubs has a chance to settle in the storage closet.
